Mac Drill & Blast is a locally owned drilling and blasting contractor based in Southport, Queensland. We provide complete drill and blast solutions to the quarrying, civil construction, and infrastructure industries across Southeast Queensland and beyond.
The business is owned and operated by Mick Jackson, who brings over 20 years of hands-on experience across drill and blast operations, plant operation, and project delivery.
Mick began his career working in one of Southeast Queensland’s largest quarry operations, spending seven years as a plant operator before moving into mining and later civil construction. This depth of experience laid the groundwork for launching Mac Drill & Blast, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and reliable results on every project.
